Welcome back and hello again. Today we faced the challenge of a garden makeover for a lovley lady called Sally who unfortunately suffers from arithitus and can no longer manage her garden and needed the makeover team, alias Lib and Jay. We first had to get rid of an Army of nettles, and thankfully there were plenty of Dock leaves to help us through. Jay was at hand with the spade and blitzed the nettles and weeds at the top of the garden, and i blitzed the roots with the hedgecutter (normally im not allowed to but today i put my foot down). Dont think jay liked the fact that i was a natural :) Then I started to weed the rockery area and was careful not to disturb the flowers that Sally loved. Jay then mowed the grassy area and made sure all the weeds were removed from the path. Then it was coffee time...one of those lovely frothy things...We then dried off in the garage as the rain was pretty heavy by then, but really warm.. After a bag of crisps and a ten minute break, we continued clearing up the back garden. We gathered up our tools and put what we didnt need into the van and moved onto trim the front hedge. Sally was very pleased with the job as she was selling her property and it had made a vast improvement and now she wouldn't be worrying about attempting the job herself.
She also loved the box of eggs that i gave her that were freshly laid this morning by our chickens.
Thanks again Sally, hope all goes well with the move and see you soon.
Take care all Jay and Lib :)
