Hi Bloggers and a very warm welcome back , hope your all doing great..
The job we are going to show you today is a full garden tidy we did at Burntwood Methodist Church near Lichfield.
The Church garden had been cut for a good 10 years. It was suffering as all the trees and shrubs , oh and the laurel hedge had all grown into each other. The Buddleia looked nice but it was to big for the area and hid the other shrubs.
We opened it right up, we cut the Buddleia to ground level so it would regrow , we got rid of the self set Ash trees that were in there reduced the Hazel bushes and trimmed the Laurel hedge. We cleared the windblown leaves off the car park while we were there too.
When we had finished the birds loved it, as they could get to all the untouched new soil. There was a Robin, some Jays and we saw a couple of Great tits too.
We seemed to have the approval from the Church knitting club. Its was all thumbs up.
Hope you enjoy the pictures.....
Until the next time Bloggers
